Getting kids on bikes is a great cause. Please help out if you are able!
Alright, bike nerds, we’re getting close to go time!
The 2026 MyCycle Fort Collins Team Challenge is sitting at $6,290, which puts us shy of one-third of the way to our goal. Donations need to be in by the build days on September 10th and 11th, so there isn’t a ton of time left to get your team, club, crew or yourself on the board.
And we’re missing donations from some of our perennial favorites.
Team totals so far:

Fort Collins Cycling Club: $280
CSU: $280
Privateers are doing their part too, with nearly $3,000 in individual donations so far. That’s awesome.
But I have questions.
Where are my peeps from Poudre Sunrise Cyclists? Corndoggies? Q***r Plus Bikes? Viral Racing? Fort Collins Gravel People? NCGR? Breakaway Cycles? And the Rio?! Goose eggs so far...
The Team Challenge was created to get the entire Northern Colorado cycling community involved, from race teams and clubs to gravel crews, commuters and everyone in between.
And remember, this isn’t just about bragging rights. MyCycle provides brand-new bikes and helmets to local PSD kids. In 2025, MyCycle distributed 266 bikes, and since the program started in 2020, more than 1,600 bikes and helmets have gone to local second graders. The 2026 program will again include second graders at Putnam, Bauder, Irish, Laurel, Harris and Linton, along with fifth graders at Putnam.
Every contribution helps. You don’t have to fund a whole bike to make a difference.
So, Horsetooth, MiiFlo and Fort Follies are off the front, and there isn’t exactly an organized chase group.
