Today we celebrated four incredible student winners of our 3rd Grade Essay Contest, answering the question: “Who is your hero?”⭐️

🏅Ilaria chose Simone Biles as her hero, admiring her courage, perseverance, and willingness to prioritize her mental health while inspiring others to do the same.

❤️Collette wrote about her brother Bobby, who donated part of his liver to save her life when she was five years old. She shared how his kindness, strength, and determination inspire her to help others and never give up.

🤝Sam wrote about his grandmother, who spends time each month preparing meals and delivering food, clothing, and sleeping bags to people experiencing homelessness. He is proud to help her serve others.

🍎Addison honored her teacher, Ms. Murphy, describing her as an archaeologist who uncovers each student’s strengths, a firefighter who helps solve problems, and an engineer who builds a strong foundation for learning.
