September is Library Card Sign Up Month!!

Libraries offer so much for our communities, but they need our support to stay strong and provide the services many of us rely on every day. Library Card Sign-up Month is a great time to get involved with and support your local library and libraries everywhere.

Sign up to volunteer - you won't regret it! Town of Timnath

Come volunteer for the Town of Timnath's Fall Festival on September 26! Spend time with your neighbors and meet people from all over town. We're looking for individuals for event setup, teardown, pumpkin decorating, and entrance greeters. Volunteers will be provided with a volunteer shirt, which is yours to keep! We are heartbroken by the loss of Dolly Parton—an American treasure whose extraordinary life was defined not only by her talent, but by her kindness, generosity, acceptance, and love. She spent a lifetime being unapologetically herself, and in doing so, gave others permission to do the same.

In the wake of her passing, people from every walk of life have shared stories of the ways she touched their lives and made the world feel a little brighter. Dolly had a rare gift for bringing people together across communities, generations, and differences. Few people have ever been so widely admired—or so deeply loved. We struggle to think of another with that ability.

Among the many causes closest to her heart was her Imagination Library, created to place books in the hands of children and nurture a lifelong love of reading. To honor Dolly and carry a small piece of that beautiful legacy forward, we will give a free book to every family who attends our 10th Annual Día de los Mu***os celebration on Saturday, November 7, here in Loveland. May her memory continue to inspire us to lead with compassion, celebrate one another, and help every child imagine a future filled with possibility.

There is no Book Lovers Day celebration without celebrating ALL the ways children can experience the joy of a book!
