👻 Trivia just got a little more BOO-tiful! 🎃

On Tuesday, October 13th the winning team (up to 8 players) takes home FREE tickets to ChildSafe Colorado’s Trivia Boo Event on Friday, October 23rd! 🧠🍺

Trivia Boo is a night of high-energy trivia, costume contests, prizes, food, drinks, and games, all supporting an amazing local nonprofit. So really, you’re playing for two trivia nights in one. 👀

Think of DAF, (Donor-Advised-Funds) as the 401k of charitable giving. It's a great way to allocate money to your favorite non-profit.

1️⃣Put cash, stock, or crypto into the account to get an immediate tax deduction.

2️⃣Invest the money inside the account so it grows tax-free.

3️⃣Recommend donations (called grants) to IRS-qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofits whenever you want.

Our Executive Director, Kathleen Baumgardner, sat down with Andrew Johnson from Connections That Matter Podcast to discuss some of our great partnerships with other businesses and organizations in our community, our generous donors, and our ever-present funding gap. Federal funding and grants just aren't enough to keep a non-profit serving the people who need it most. It takes a village, and what a wonderful village we have in Northern Colorado.

Last week, First Intersate Bank brought their A-game to both ChildSafe locations for a volunteer day. They spent the day sanitizing toys, building garden boxes, and adding cheerful touches to some of our spaces - all with big smiles and huge hearts.

Thank you for sending us your coworkers for a day and for being such a dedicated supporter of ChildSafe in so many ways.
