Wilian's Wishes

Wilian's Wishes This page is dedicated to helping Wilian Fuentes. Ever since then, my family and I have been involved in Wilian's life.

Wilian Fuentes came to Fort Collins in 2004 for surgery to help him relieve some of the stiffness caused by a rare birth defect that cripples his limbs. Each year, we visit him in Honduras and grant his wishes.

Wilian has grown and can no longer feed himself. He also dreams of walking someday. It will require more surgeries and lots of therapy. Sadly, the doctor who performed his first surgeries has passed away. We miss you you, Dr. Lee Gordon. No one can ever fill your shoes, but maybe there is another doctor out there who will pick up where you left off and is willing to take on Wilian's case. It's Wilian's next big wish

Thanks to everyone who donated. We were able to raise $150, which was enough to purchase a new TV and a Nintendo 64 game. We have a laptop that is being repaired right now. We will get it to him in May. The trip was great. Thanks to everyone who helped.

Please donate any Nintendo games that you may have, an old laptop that still plays CDs or DVDs and has a word processor, or money for his television. Wilian thanks you from the bottom of his heart.
We leave for Honduras on December 27, 2010.

This year, Wilian's three wishes are:
1. Nintendo 64 games
2. Laptop
3. Television (due to the size of this item, we can only accept monetary donations, and we will purchase it in Honduras)
