We had SO much fun yesterday at our Great School Escape learning all about wildlife adaptations! 🐾🌿

We were also lucky to have a very special guest speaker from NOCO Humane join us to teach us about animal rehabilitation and what it takes to help wildlife return to the wild.

We also encountered four young raccoons today right here on our very own ELC property! We were so lucky to watch these little guys explore the forest (from a safe distance of course) 🦝💚

Don’t miss out on our next Great School Escapes coming up!! Register on our website https://warnercnr.colostate.edu/elc/

📅 Thursday, October 15: Carnivores and More
Join us for a day dedicated to the crazy carnivores that live in our ecosystem. We’ll learn about coyotes, bobcats, foxes, wolves, weasles, raccons, and more

📅Friday, October 16: Hungry Happy Herbivores
Let’s learn all about herbivores! We’ll go searching the trails for signs of deer, rabbits, squirrels, and other plant-picking creatures.
