Since 2003, No Barriers USA has been helping people affected by disability shift their mindset to break through real barriers in their lives. The No Barriers Mindset is more than a personal tool for success—it is a universal strategy for human flourishing.

Soon, our No Barriers BASECAMP will be the new beating heart of the No Barriers ecosystem—bringing the No Barriers Mindset directly into your home, or wherever you are, so that you can continue to intentionally practice and cultivate resilience and purpose in your own life alongside others who share your passion for creating a more vibrant, accountable, and courageous world.

I’d love to know what you think, would you travel with someone who is blind or has a visual impairment?

Or, if you are blind/visually impaired, tell me more about your travel experiences!

This idea of living a life was sparked 25 years ago, when Erik Weihenmayer stood on the summit of Mount Everest as the first person to reach the top. He however didn't get there alone. His historic journey relied on his team—trusting each other, pushing each other forward, and discovering what’s possible in the face of adversity.

Today, a record number of individuals are reaching out to No Barriers, searching for that exact same encouragement, , and belief in what’s possible. Your gift funds the transformational programs, mentorship, and experiences that prove no one has to face life’s challenges alone.

Be the anchor someone needs to reach their summit. 🧡 visit: https://secure.givelively.org/donate/no-barriers-usa/everest.

"And then I realized what Erik's Everest climb was really about... the team." ⚒

No Barriers board member Steve Clouthier heard co-founder Erik Weihenmayer speak a few years ago. Steve knew Erik was the first person to touch the top of the world ...

"But hearing him describe the experience brought it to life in a completely different way. The Sherpas guiding the team through the dangerous Khumbu Icefall. Bells attached to climbers so Erik could follow the sound ahead of him. Teammates laying ladders across deep, treacherous crevasses and moving together, step by step... That idea of people supporting each other and pushing forward, through challenges, is what inspired me to get involved with No Barriers."

No Barriers helps people affected by disabilities access community, outdoor programs, and mindset tools that build the support, encouragement, and resilience to face life's ongoing challenges. And right now, more people than ever are turning to No Barriers to find their belief in what's possible, and we're inviting you to be a part of their rope team.

To celebrate Erik's 25th Everest anniversary and the No Barriers movement that was born from it, we have created a special donation page where you can make a gift that honors this achievement and helps someone else take their next step forward. Your generosity today will help people affected by disability and their family caregivers rewrite history tomorrow.
