CSU Pre-Pharmacy Club

CSU Pre-Pharmacy Club The purpose of the Pre-Pharmacy Club at Colorado State University is to encourage and support the students of CSU in learning about the pharmacy profession

The club features:

Regular Meetings
Guest speakers from the community and from Pharmacy Schools
Opportunities to meet other students who are enrolled in the same courses as you
Participation in volunteer and community service projects
Participation in the Pre-Pharmacy Shadowing Program
Opportunities to learn about the requirements and admissions process for Pharmacy School
A fun, social, extracurricular activity!

Thank you everyone who made our 19th annual Easter Egg Hunt for Individuals with Disabilities a success! There was about 170 kids there and over 300 people total. We could not have done it with all the help from volunteers.

Our last meeting of the semester is this Wednesday April 19th at 6pm in Eddy 5. Our guest will be Carson Haney, the outreach coordinator at University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy.

If you have any last questions come ask us at the meeting or stop by our office hours. Have an amazing last few weeks of school!!

All HPSA meeting tonight in Eddy 212 at 6pm. This will be a personal statement workshop put on by the advisors to help you with future applications. This will be a very useful meeting if you plan to apply to professional school so hope to see you there!

Also fly high fundraiser for the EEH is tomorrow night at 9pm and is $12. Please make sure to fill out a waiver on the fly high website in advance.

Meeting this Wednesday, March 1st at 6m in Eddy212. This is a combined meeting with the medical branch. There will be a panel of current students in med school, PA school, pharmacy school, and dental school to share their experience and offer advice. There will be pizza! See you all there.

Our first HPSA-Medical meeting is Wednesday February 1st at 6pm in Eddy 212. A Kaplan representative will be talking about the PCAT as well as the MCAT, DAT, and OAT. We will also go over upcoming events this semester as well as volunteer opportunities.

Happy Halloween everyone!!

First off thank you to everyone who volunteered at Treatsylvania this weekend, that is always an awesome event!

Our next meeting will be this Wednesday November 2nd at 6pm in Eddy 212. Our guest will be discussing medical opportunities in the military.

Our guests will be Melissa Ruggiero, the Admissions Counselor at Regis University (1 of 2 pharmacy schools located in Colorado) as well as Carissa Brandt, a Kaplan Representative to talk about options of how to prepare for the PCAT.

Exploring Health Professions Career Fair this WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 28TH 6:00-7:30PM LSC North Ballroom!!

Explore multiple health professions in one location, talk to practitioners about their education and experiences, ask questions about roles in health care.
