- Pine Ridge Jail Garden Project involves the creation of 3 garden plots 150ft x 120ft. These gardens will be tended by the 6800 inmates, the food produced will be used in the Jail kitchen, and remaining produce will be given to the commun
ity of Pine Ridge.
-"Beet the System" food sovereignty workshops utilize community gardens as teaching space to educate local Lakota how to grow their own food utilizing permaculture and organic gardening techniques.
- Yoga & Pilates Classes are now being offered monthly in Batesland, SD
-Edible Schoolyard program being designed for the local Boys & Girls Club and other local schools
-Medicinal Herb Garden at The Solar Warrior Farm to be used as a teaching and demonstration garden to assist in identification of local medicinal plants, their uses, wild crafting and medicinal preparations.
-Acupuncture Smoking Cessation Clinics to be offered as a 3 week program at various locations throughout Pine Ridge 4 times per year.
-Natural Health Clinics to offer a multitude of services including acupuncture, chiropractic care, reiki, yoga and pilates. Internationally, (2013) GNHA will offer the following:
- Mobile, circuit-based clinics that provide monthly medical service to impoverished rural communities
- Permanent natural health care centers in tourist areas to provide free services for locals and fee-based natural health care for tourists
- Volunteer and learning opportunities for natural health professionals and others interested in service projects abroad
- Exchange of ideas between Western-trained natural health professionals and local traditional healers
