Our first limited edition Reef Healers hats are here and will be available first at Poudre RiverFest tomorrow.

We only made a small batch, so if you’ve been wanting one, don’t wait. Every hat helps support local river cleanups and our coral reef research project in Belize.

We’re heading back to Belize 🌊🪸

Join us at Poudre RiverFest, a free, family-friendly celebration of the Cache la Poudre River and the people working to protect it.

Spend the day enjoying live music, local food, hands-on activities, and meeting the incredible organizations and community members dedicated to caring for the Poudre River and our local watershed.

We’ll be there too! Stop by the Reef Healers booth to say hi, learn about our work from rivers to reefs, and hear how local action helps protect ecosystems downstream all the way to the ocean.

Our first hosted trip to Belize was a huge milestone for Reef Healers. 🌊

This experience brought together adventure, education, and hands on conservation at Lighthouse Reef Atoll.

It marked the beginning of our three year research project in partnership with the Lighthouse Reef Research Repository, the training of our first Reef Healer participant, and our first opportunity to bring someone into the field to experience this work alongside us.

We completed baseline reef surveys, collected water quality data, removed marine debris, and spent time exploring one of the most incredible reef systems in the Caribbean.

We are so excited to continue building this program and will be returning to Belize again later this year.

🇺🇸🌊 The celebration ended, and the cleanup began.

The day after the Fourth of July, our volunteers came together at Riverbend Ponds and removed 80.2 pounds of trash from the Cache la Poudre watershed.

Every piece collected helps protect local wildlife, water quality, and the ocean downstream.

Thank you to everyone who spent part of their holiday weekend giving back.

The river feels July 4th too. 🇺🇸🌊

Holiday weekends often leave behind more than memories. Trash, fishing line, cans, food waste, and plastic can all end up in our waterways after one of the busiest weekends of the summer.

That’s why we’re heading to Riverbend Ponds on Sunday, July 5th for a post July 4th cleanup along the Cache la Poudre River. Join us as we help remove holiday weekend litter before it breaks apart, gets buried, or travels farther downstream.

Protecting water quality starts right here in our own backyard and small actions like this make a real difference from rivers to reefs.

🌊 Happy World Ocean Day! 🌊

This weekend, our community came together to celebrate World Ocean Day the best way we know how: by taking action.

Together, our volunteers removed 44.9 pounds of trash from the Cache la Poudre River watershed, helping prevent litter from traveling downstream and impacting ecosystems far beyond Colorado.

Ocean conservation doesn’t begin at the coastline. It starts right here in our rivers, streams, and communities. Every piece of trash removed is one less piece that can make its way to the ocean.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and continues to support our mission. Your efforts are proof that protecting our blue planet starts at home.

Clean water is the foundation of healthy communities, healthy rivers, and healthy oceans.

As inland ocean advocates, we believe protecting water starts right here at home. That means caring about the water flowing through our rivers and watersheds, but it also means making sure our local and neighboring communities have access to safe, clean drinking water.

While Fort Collins is known for its award-winning drinking water, many families in Larimer County mobile home parks are still facing boil water notices, discolored water, persistent odors, and uncertainty about whether their tap water is safe.

That is why we are supporting the Colorado Water Center and Mi Voz as they work to raise $100,000 to get an Epic Water Filter into every mobile home in Larimer County.
The new Mobile Home Water Quality Act is an important step forward, but infrastructure improvements take time. Families need support now.

This Drinking Water Week, help bring clean water to our neighbors.

💧 $10 = one filter
💧 $25 = one pitcher + one filter
💧 $50 = one pitcher + 3 filters, about a year’s worth of clean water
💧 $500 = a year of clean water for 10 households
