Guess what everyone! We are less than two weeks away from having our first group of the summer out! As our summer staff make their way out to Colorado for training, it’s time to introduce our head cook!

Meet Shelbie Wieting. She is from Evans, CO and is exciting to be working with fellows in Christ and growing her skills in cooking. A fun fact about Shelbie is that she loves reading books and will read in every spare second she has! You’ll have to ask her what book she is reading when you meet her this summer.

It’s June everyone! Groups are coming to Colorado this month! Let’s meet our third summer counselor!

Her name is Brianna Cook and is from Wausau, Wisconsin. Brianna is most excited to step into a leadership position while also growing her faith with the Lord and to be surrounded by mountains all summer! A fun fact about her is that she was a camper at Three Trees 2 years ago!

We are just so excited for this summer and can’t wait to introduce another one of our counselors for this summer!

Meet Abigail Meyer! She is from a small farm in Hoyleton, IL. Abigail is super excited to spend the summer pouring her faith into younger Christians and helping them grow, as well as getting to spend time in the Rockies! A fun fact about her is that she is studying to be an optometrist in the Appalachian mountains, and may or may not have a slight hiking addiction…

The countdown continues and we are so excited to introduce one of our three counselors for this summer!

Meet Moriah Hollar! She is from Claremont, North Carolina. This summer she is most excited to learn and grow in her relationship with the Lord, practice leadership skills, meet new people, and spend time outside and going on hikes! And here’s a fun fact about Moriah, she has visited 10 countries! You will have to ask her all about her travels.

Hello friends! I’m Trevor Kunze, CEO of Three Trees Outdoor Ministry. I pour my heart and energy into every person I get to meet, and I couldn’t do any of it without my incredible family. My wife is the most brilliant and beautiful woman I know, and my daughter is everything a dad could dream of — smart, full of life, and always ready to wrestle! We are so pumped for this summer. Please keep our family and the entire Three Trees team in your prayers as the season kicks off. See you soon!
