The latest newsletter just came out. If you didn't get it in your inbox, you can check it out here. It's full of stories of how the Youth Conference went this month in Uganda.

Our team returned from Uganda this past week, having run a Youth / Young Adult Conference in the refugee camps. We had nearly 200 refugees participating from 20 churches. The On Mission Global team just returned this past weekend from holding our second annual Youth Conference in the S. Sudanese refugee camps located in western Uganda. We had about 180 students in attendance for 5 days of worship, Bible study, crafts and activities, and fellowship. We partner with the Baptist Associations in the camps.

Some highlights this year were that every student received a Bible (for many this was the first time they had a Bible of their own!), a solar lamp (so they could read the Bible, even at night), and we doubled the number of Bible training sessions with even more of a focus on how to read and study the Bible for yourself.

To learn more about the camp, check out the notes with each of the photos here. And if you'd like to join us next year for the Youth Conference, or if you're interested in joining one of the other trips this year, let Terry know!

If you're not able to travel with us, but you'd still like to help support the work that On Mission Global is doing among the refugees, please consider donating. On Mission Global is a registered 501(c)3 and all donations are tax deductible. Your money can also go a long way in the camps -- building church buildings, providing Bibles and training, providing Sunday School materials (and more training), enabling us to get story cloths and proclaimers out to those that can't read, and so much more!
