🚨Bloom Watch 🚨

👀 Look out! This soaptree yucca (Yucca elata) is getting ready to bloom any day now 🤞

A slow-growing member of the asparagus (Asparagaceae) family, soaptree yucca sends up tall flower stalks topped with clusters of creamy-white, bell-shaped blooms in late spring to early summer. Keep an eye out on your next visit!

You'll find this gem along the northern edge of the Prairie Garden walkway (in the Foothills Garden).

♻️ Help us reuse and recycle! Through June 2, we’re collecting pots from The Gardens’ Plant Sale.

You’ll find a labeled collection bin near our main entrance. Please note: we can only accept containers from The Gardens’ Plant Sale—no outside pots or four-packs.

Thanks for helping us give them a second life! 🌱

🎨 It’s officially here! “Chromatecture: Where Geometry Meets Nature” is now open at The Gardens! We’re honored to showcase these 10 striking sculptures by Pard Morrison through Sept. 27.

Inspired by the colors, patterns and textures found in nature, each piece invites you to slow down, look closely and experience the connection between color, structure and surrounding space in a whole new way. 🤯

We’re excited to open our latest art exhibition, “Chromatecture: Where Geometry Meets Nature,” on Friday, May 22.

Featuring a series of freestanding sculptures by Pard Morrison, “Chromatecture” draws inspiration from the vibrant palette of plant materials found throughout The Gardens. Influenced by the colors, textures and rhythms of the living landscape, Morrison transforms elements of garden design into bold patterns, striking contrasts and dynamic forms.

Members—you get to see it first! Join us Thursday, May 21 at 6 p.m. for a special preview with Pard on-site to share remarks about the exhibition. Learn more and register: https://gardens.fortcollins.gov/Events-and-Classes/2026-Events/Member-Preview-Chromatecture
