Come join us as we celebrate the founder of Girl Scouts, Juliette Gordon Low with a birthday party. Girls are invited to come play games, make their own cardboard car for a "drive in" movie, and to help create birthday kits for Warriors Warehouse. This is a bring a friend event! Fort Carson Scout Troops 44262 and 46305 completed their Bronze Project, Sisterhood Garden, this weekend. The scouts cleared an area at our scout hut that we share with the Fort Carson Cubs and Boy Scouts. The girls designed two benches, one to incorporate the Boy Scouts and one that represents the Sisterhood the two troops developed. They learned the importance of setting and sticking to a budget. The girls learned how to use power tools safely and the importance of measuring. The scouts also made several kindness rocks and planted flowers to attract pollinators to the area.
