The food distributed at Fort Bragg Food Bank doesn’t just appear on our shelves.

It is collected, transported, sorted, packed, and delivered through a network of staff, volunteers, partners, and trucks working every day to feed Mendocino County.

As transportation costs rise, that work becomes more expensive—but the need remains.

An anonymous donor is matching gifts to Mendo Food Network’s Freight Fund up to $2,000.

We would like to take a minute to step back in time and offer a huge thank you to our local business who helped make our Volunteer Appreciation Day at the end of April a big success. We all know our businesses get asked for donations often, and we really appreciate them helping us show our volunteers that their local business appreciates them! Together we were able to secure over 30 raffle prizes! Each volunteer who came to the event received a raffle ticket, and most went home with a gift, thanks to our community donors. Fort Bragg Cyclery donated a bike rental for 2! Mendocino Coast Children's Fund donated multiple gift cards including, Starbuck Gift Card, Noyo Fish Co., Lather Hair Studio and more. Spunky Skunk donated multiple gift cards. Botanical Gardens donated a family membership for a year. Coast Cinemas donated 2 gift cards good for movies for a YEAR! Ben from Tsunami Glass donated a beautiful piece of art. Beautiful Earth donated a gift Certificate. Tee-Time donated a gift card for one hour simulation- go check out their virtual golfing and their new race simulator! Skunk Train offered multiple pudding creek express vouchers. Shirts and More on Main Street donated a cool “are you crabby,” sweatshirt. Our volunteer's sweet tooth was cured with several Cowlicks Gift cards. A Shore Thing had a huge swag bag of goodies. Our friends Nancy and Tom Bernardy donated a beautiful hand made bird house. Thank you so much to all of our local businesses who helped make our volunteer appreciation day a huge success. We appreciate our local home town hero's! Please support these businesses!

In addition to the Fort Bragg Food Bank food distribution location, Mendo Food Network along with other agency partners together we are able to provide 30 food distribution locations in the County of Mendocino.
Together we are actively fighting food insecurity in our county.
