Today, February 23, we celebrate the founding of Rotary International.

On this day in 1905, attorney Paul P. Harris brought together a small group of professionals in Chicago, Illinois, with a simple but powerful idea, to create a place where people could build lasting friendships while serving their communities.

The name “Rotary” came from those early days, when members rotated meeting locations among their offices.

121 years later, that same spirit of connection, integrity, and service continues to unite Rotarians around the world and right here in our own community.

Thank you Julie Turcol Nickerson and US Bank for your support. Not only did you sponsor the event but you spent the day volunteering with us which we are so grateful for!

Rotary Club of Fort Bragg

Chartered in 1950, the Rotary Club of Fort Bragg is an active local group of community leaders and volunteers brought together for “Service Above Self”. Annual fundraisers include the Crab Feed Dinner, Beer Fest, Dine Out for a Year Raffle, and participation at the World’s Largest Salmon Barbecue.
