North Coast Toy Run

North Coast Toy Run We are a group of motorcycle enthusiasts who choose to support our local under served children, by hosting an annual Toy Run to make their Christmas brighter.

Without the generous donations by many of our local businesses, this would not be possible! Our 17th annual North Coast Toy Run will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016. Motorcycles depart at 12:30pm from Boatyard Shopping Center in Fort Bragg at Hwy 20 & Hwy 1, arriving at Fort Bragg Lions Hall. Admission & Dinner: Bring a new unwrapped toy for a child under 18. You don't need to ride a motorcy

cle to attend. The more the merrier so bring a friend or two! Rain or shine, we'll be there! Don't want to get wet? Drive your car and meet us at the Lon's Hall at 1:00pm. Complete dinner is donated by local businesses, known as Santa's Helpers: tri tip from Roundman's, salad from Laurel Deli & Desserts, bread from D'Aurelios & Pat's special beans from Harvest Market. Coffee donated by Thanksgiving Coffee Company. No-host bar with local North Coast Brewery beer donated by North Coast Brewery. Without these incredible people, we wouldn't be able to do what we do. Raffle and 50/50

Live music with the Brown Brothers Blues Band

The Toy Run benefits Safe Passage Family Resource Center. Without your donations for our raffle and/or your attendance, many children wouldn't receive anything for Christmas. Sponsored by Ft. Bragg Lions Club. Must be over 21. For more information call: 707-961-0767

Everyone should share this with as many people as possible. Riders know this, but the general public may not be aware. If you have never been part of a benefit ride you should know at least this:
Bikers PAY to ride. Something they could do for free. But they choose to pay to ride, the fee can be anywhere between $10 to $20 or $30 per person. Not only do they pay to ride, they usually drop a lot of cash for the extras. Raffles, 50/50, and silent auctions, even Toy Runs for kids....
When you see a group ride by, they are probably riding for charity/great causes/benefits! Instead of getting upset because they blocked traffic or caused you a slight delay, please remember this: They are very generous people!!!
Give them space and your patience. It sometimes helps to have a little reminder about things. So please be patient and smile when you see them because they are doing something good for someone you may know, or for a good cause. (Copied from a fellow biker.)
