Ukulele jam sessions on the coast started around 2010 in Albion. During that decade locations moved from there to Little River to Mendocino and to the Redwood Coast Senior Center. For this latest incarnation we have chosen a new name to recognize our homebase - Redwood Coast Ukulele Jam.

Our current group (up to 20 playing together) formed after the pandemic and has grown to include many new players. Our "ensemble" is a small group of five members who are focused on instrumental pieces and working on arrangements to play with the Jam group. We are all locals from Fort Bragg to Albion and Comptche.

As a group of ukulele enthusiasts who get together for the joy of music and friendship we are happy to be hosted by Redwood Coast Senior Center, our community gem in Fort Bragg. All Ukulele players are welcome to drop in, bring a ukulele and join us. Bring your ipad or share a book. Our jam sessions are at the Redwood Coast Senior Center on Mondays from 2:30 – 4PM.

Here is the poster for Navarro by the Sea Day. Ukulele jam and singalong from noon-1pm. All welcome to join in. We will have songbooks to share. BBQ and goodies, live music on stage, Inn tours, and a raffle. Fundraiser for MendoParks who manages and has plans for the property. Plus, the beach is a short walk right down the road!
