Yesterday’s 2nd annual DESERT ONE Golf Tournament commemorated the anniversary of Operation EAGLE CLAW on 24 April 1980, with a great turnout and enthusiastic participation in our bourbon raffles. The top-performing teams, Eichel (1), Snyder (2), and Lamothe (3) received prizes, but the event’s success was largely due to the strong camaraderie among participants. The tournament provided a valuable opportunity to unwind, enjoy the outdoors, and recharge. LTG Braga’s impressive golf skills were on display. CSM Zajkowski and BG Van Antwerp came a little bit later in the morning and all three leaders modeled prioritizing ‘self-care’ by spending time, smiling, and laughing with our teammates - giving us permission to unwind. It was a wonderful day to be a part of our amazing enterprise.
