The Fort Benning Thrift Store is operated by the Fort Benning Community Spouses Club. WE ARE OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC! The Fort Moore Thrift Store is a nonprofit organization serving Fort Moore and local communities. The store sells donated merchandise to generate net revenue and aid organizations for charitable and educational purposes. Meaning, the profits we make go directly back into the For

t Moore Community. We are open Tuesday 10-2, Wednesday 10-6, Thursday 10-2, and the first Saturday of every month from 10-2. Please be sure to check this page for any changes that may occur! Our location is on Main Post behind the Burger King/Dunkin Donuts and Shopette. The building number is 1713 on Pecom Row. Donations are accepted 24/7! They may be brought into the store during our open hours or put in the red donation shed located in front of our store. Cash and credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express) are accepted (minimum $5 purchase for a credit or debit card transaction). Volunteers are vital to our success. We rely on them to help us sort, hang, organize and restock items. Please let us know if you would like to join us today!

Our military room is currently getting a full facelift, so excuse the mess while we work our magic. Don’t panic though… it is STILL shoppable and we’re bringing in tons of fresh inventory while keeping a few collector favorites around too. 🇺🇸

Over the next few days, our military room is getting a FULL makeover to better serve our military community! Please excuse the mess while we rearrange, restock, reorganize, and completely revamp the space.

We’ll be bringing in as much fresh inventory as possible — uniforms, gear, boots, and more — while still keeping a few of the older gems around for our collectors and vintage military lovers because we know y’all would riot if we didn’t 😉

This room has always been special to us, and we’re excited to make it even better for the community that supports us every single day. Stay tuned… because the military room glow-up is officially underway 🔥

📣 Calling All Community-Minded Volunteers! 📣
PCS season is in FULL swing at the Fort Benning Thrift Store, which means the donations are rolling in fast… and so is our mission to give back to this incredible community. 💙
We are currently looking for NEW volunteers who are passionate about helping others, supporting military families and making a real impact right here at home. Every rack stocked, donation sorted and hour volunteered helps us continue giving back through community support, scholarships, grants and outreach programs.
Because of the growing need during PCS season, we’re getting ready to host a Volunteer Meet & Greet for anyone interested in joining our team!
✨ Come:
• Tour the store
• Learn about our mission
• Ask questions
• See how volunteering directly supports our community
• Learn about volunteer perks & benefits
This will be a relaxed informational evening for NEW volunteers interested in becoming part of something meaningful.
🗓️ We are currently planning for:
• Monday OR Friday
• Either 5:30–6:30 PM or 6:00–7:00 PM
We would LOVE your feedback on which day/time works best for the most people, so please comment below! 👇

• This is informational only — the store will not be open for shopping.
• We highly encourage arranging childcare if possible. However, we understand that isn’t always an option. If children must attend, they must remain with their parent at all times and stay in a stroller, carrier or seated with the parent during the meeting. Children are not allowed during volunteer hours.
