❤️ We’re Looking for Volunteers! Join the Heart Behind “Our Closet” at Fort Benning.

The Red Cross is launching a new project called 'Our Closet' — a small but mighty space where soldiers, veterans, and military families can pick up essential items, no paperwork, referrals or permission required.

Donations are already rolling in — now we just need you! 💪

🧺 Once we have cleaned up our new space (the old Wells Fargo space next to the commissary) we will be looking for helping hands to:

Sort and organize donations

Restock shelves and keep the space welcoming

Help with cleanup and setup

Greet visitors with warmth and respect

Share the word throughout our community

Whatever amount of time you have to give will make a difference ❤️

The American Red Cross deploys one of our own from the Georgia Region.

Please join us in wishing these seven men and women a safe journey as they serve members of the United States military in Djibouti, Iraq and Kuwait. For the next six months this Red Cross team will provide a full array of quality services the military has come to expect, including relaying emergency communications, hosting events and visiting troops at the installations' medical facilities.
