Want to give a huge thank you to all the churches nonprofits and agencies that came out today to support our kiddos back to school Bash. We had lots of giveaways we had backpacks full of supplies and along with that we had professionals giving haircuts to all the kiddos. It's truly amazing to live in a community that so filled with love and unity!!

🏠 From Homelessness to Home: Brad’s Story

Brad’s story is a reminder of why this work matters.

There was a time when Brad was experiencing homelessness. Today, he is housed, moving forward, and able to share a piece of his journey and the role The Charis Group has played along the way.

This is what compassion in action looks like.

It is meeting people where they are. It is building relationships, helping remove barriers, connecting people with resources, and continuing to walk alongside them as they work toward stability.

We want to give a very special thank you to the Skaggs Foundation for supporting this work through the Compassion in Action Grant. Their investment helps make it possible for Charis to keep loving on folks, showing up when people need someone in their corner, and helping people like Brad take meaningful steps toward a different future.

And Brad is just one story. ❤️
