Yesterday, a few of our Troop D ASP Troopers traded their uniforms for softball jerseys to support a fellow Marion Police Department officer, Officer Pruitt.

We spent a long, hot day on the ball field participating in a benefit softball tournament for Officer Pruitt, who was injured in the line of duty. While the temperatures were high, the support from the community was even greater.
It was a great reminder of how strong our law enforcement family and community truly are when we come together to support one another.

Please continue to keep Officer Pruitt and his family in your thoughts and prayers as he continues his recovery.

Our hearts are so full after today’s Trooper Trot! 💙

Thank you to every runner, walker, volunteer, sponsor, and vendor who came out to support our event. Seeing our community come together in support of our troopers and their families means more than words can express. Your encouragement, smiles, generosity, and support helped make this event such a special and unforgettable day.

A huge thank you to all of our amazing vendors for showing up and helping create such a fun atmosphere for everyone who attended. We truly appreciate each and every one of you!

We loved seeing everyone out there this morning, and we can’t wait to share more memories from the event — more pictures will be posted soon! 📸
