Thank you to Kiwanis Club of Forrest City for giving us the opportunity to share our mission with them. I was so touched by their comments and feedback as to what we do in the community. I also enjoyed getting to know the members and getting some great information. Forrest City is lucky to have organizations like Kiwanis Club because of all the great things they do for the community.
Thank you for your time and for being willing to learn more about what we have to offer.

Thank you to our special guest speaker today. Karla Furr with the Flourish Center filled us in about the local nonprofit and all of the programs they provide for our community.

Classes at Flourish Center have started. We are ready to learn more!

Did you know? You don’t have to understand every word to understand another language! Your brain learns to use context, tone, facial expressions, and familiar words to figure out meaning.

We focus on those things during our classes!

Flourish Center attended today’s St. Francis County Health Coalition meeting at Forrest City Medical Center!

We enjoyed hearing from Dr. Jordan Harrison, the newest physician with East Arkansas Medical Group, about the services she provides and how she aims to help citizens in the Delta. We also discussed an important need in our community—transportation, in order for people to have access to healthcare. Let’s continue working together, this is how we find solutions and make resources more accessible to everyone!

Exciting news for Flourish Center and St. Francis County!

Flourish Center is officially a Agency partner of the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas! This partnership will open the door to even more resources and opportunities to serve families throughout our county.

Recently, our President, Karla Furr, and Secretary, Tiffany Billingsley, completed onboarding training with the Food Bank as we prepare for the next step in growing the Nourish Mobile program.

Our team has been working hard to secure a trailer and the resources needed to bring Nourish Mobile to St. Francis County TWICE a month!

Our goal is simple: make FREE fresh produce accessible to everyone in St. Francis County—regardless of income or where they live. By setting up at different locations throughout the county and different time, we hope to reach families who may have limited transportation and have difficulty accessing fresh food.

We are ready to put in the work, but we need our community beside us. We look forward to partnering with local businesses, churches, organizations, and volunteers to help Nourish Mobile reach even more people.

Now we need YOUR help.

Flourish Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and programs like this are made possible through community support. If you believe in what we’re doing, please consider making a donation to help us continue and expand this work. Gas expenses to get food from Jonesboro in our trailer is our biggest expense. Any amount of donation helps us!

Donation information will be posted in the comments.

Donations to Flourish Center are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Together, we can make fresh food more accessible across St. Francis County.

Classes start this week!! We are so ready to welcome our students back.

We enjoy teaching others about different languages and cultures.

DID YOU KNOW? Learning another language can help you become more aware of other people’s cultures, experiences, and needs.

Knowing even a little of someone else’s language can help them feel welcomed, understood, and less alone—and it can open doors for you to serve, connect, and succeed in places you never expected. Learning a language also opens up doors for different jobs.

Language isn’t just something you learn. It’s a way to reach people. At Flourish Center our goal is to help people through education and knowledge. This is one of the many things we do at Flourish Center.
