🌎💙 DID YOU KNOW? 💙🌎

Today, June 17, is Father’s Day in countries such as El Salvador and Guatemala! While many people in the United States celebrate Father’s Day on the third Sunday in June, Father’s Day is observed on different dates around the world. Some countries celebrate in March, others in August or September, and some, like El Salvador and Guatemala, celebrate on June 17 each year.

We love learning about the traditions and cultures that make our community unique. Different countries may celebrate special occasions on different days and in different ways, but each tradition reflects the values, history, and love that are important to the people who observe them.

Congratulations to Cross County 4-H for winning the Delta District O-Rama! Congratulations to Arkansas Extension - Cross County for collecting the most hygiene items for our Flourish Center Community Service Project. We are so thankful that they chose to help us with this project! Keep an eye out for how these items will be used!

Celebrating a Year of Growth, Learning, and Community at Flourish Center!

We are so proud to celebrate our Flourish Center students and all that was accomplished during the 2025–2026 school year!

This year, we recognized the students who completed our Spanish 1 and English language classes. Learning a new language takes dedication, and these students showed persistence, motivation, and a willingness to grow each week. Along the way, they not only learned language skills but also gained a deeper understanding and appreciation of different cultures and perspectives.

We also celebrated the many accomplishments of Flourish Center throughout the year. From educational programs and community outreach to special events and service projects, we remained committed to our mission of helping our community flourish.

A huge thank you goes to our incredible volunteers who consistently give their time, talents, and energy to serve others. Their willingness to help makes everything we do possible.

We were also honored to recognize our 2025–2026 high school graduates and celebrate the bright futures ahead of them.
In addition, we took time to thank our community partners whose support helps turn our ideas into reality. We are so grateful that we have partners that dedicate their time and talents to help us.

A little recap of our last class for the 2025-26 year!
At Flourish Center, learning a new language doesn’t have to feel like work—it can feel like play

Take a look! Our Spanish and English classes took time to review everything they’ve learned this year… by playing games! From laughter-filled challenges to friendly competition, our classroom was full of joy, connection, and confidence-building moments.

We may be adults, but that doesn’t mean we stop loving to laugh, have fun, and learn in creative ways. In fact, those moments often help us learn even more.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to explore new languages and cultures in a way that is fun, engaging, and meaningful. After our games, we wrapped up the day by enjoying some delicious cultural treats together—because food always brings people closer

At Flourish Center, we believe learning should be something you look forward to. And this is just one of the many ways we make that happen!
