2026 Meeting Dates. The first meeting of the month will be held at 9am, and the second meeting held at 7pm. All meetings will be held at 909 Kobbe Rd, Forksville, PA 18616

Unfortunately, due to the weather, road oil for this evening has been postponed. The tentative dates are May 27 and May 29. Again, this is dependent on weather conditions. We do apologize, but please know the Elkland Townshop Supervisors are working with Midland Asphalt to get oil spread as soon as possible.

-McCarty Ridge Road
-Hill Road
-Roscoe’s Road
-Kobbe Road

ELKLAND TOWNSHIP TEMPORARY OUTDOOR BURN BAN IN EFFECT.

At the Township meeting last evening, Elkland Township Supervisors passed a Temporary Burn Ban Resolution 2024-06 that goes into effect Wednesday, November 6th at 8:00PM.

A Burn Ban prohibits open burning.

Open burning is defined as the ignition and subsequent burning of any combustible material (garbage, leaves, grass, twigs, litter, paper, vegetative matter involved with land clearing, or any sort of debris) out-of-doors either in a burn barrel or on the ground. The use of propane or gas stoves, charcoal briquette grills (where provision is made for the safe disposal of used charcoal), or the use of to***co in any form is not covered under this act.

THIS BAN IS IN EFFECT FOR 30 DAYS.

Attention Elkland Township Residents:

A strong storm rolled through the area, and there appears to be water over roadways in areas. Please use caution when traveling. Posts have stated water on the roadway on State Route 154 between Darway and North Bear Mountain Rd as well as the 400 Block of Millview Mtn Road.
Feel free to post if you know of other areas. Will try to update this post as information is seen.

UPDATE: As of 8:05PM all township roads are passable, however, roads have washed and spots are bumpy. Travel with caution.
