Get ready to mix, squish, and bake your way to a fresh, homemade loaf of bread, no mixer required!
Our next 4‑H “In A Bag” program is all about making bread in a bag, turning a classic recipe into a fun, hands‑on kitchen experience the whole family can enjoy.
🥖 What’s “In A Bag”?
A FREE hands‑on cooking kit designed to help youth learn measuring, mixing, kitchen safety, and basic baking skills, while making a delicious loaf of bread from scratch! Perfect for ages 5–19, and families are welcome to join our optional Zoom bake‑along for extra fun.
We provide nearly everything you need to bake bread at home
(you’ll just need hot water!)

🐣 Chick Watch is officially underway at the Fluvanna County Public Library. Thank you to the library for hosting our Embryology program and providing space for the community to follow along with our progress. So far, 3 chicks have hatched in the incubator, and visitors can stop by the library to view the chicks through Friday early afternoon. Thank you to the library staff for making this project possible!

We're getting an early start to Agriculture Literacy Week. Thanks to the Fluvanna County Library for allowing us to share our embryology project with visitors! We're expecting hatch during spring break. Stay tuned for chick updates.
