The Up And Up Chess Club The Up And Up Chess Club (UAUCC) curriculum uses chess as a learning tool to increase academic achievement.

Our curriculum uses chess as a vehicle for improving reading, writing, mathematics and critical thinking skills. Additionally, the goal of this curriculum is for students to transfer fundamental chess principles to their lives, including decision-making, goal setting and accountability.
​ The Up And Up Chess Club serves youth in grades K-12 in a variety of educational and community settings. Students will have the opportunity to participate in tournaments and other chess related events.
