*****Good Afternoon Local 689******

Today our ATU Local 689 Today’s Women’s Caucus distributed hats, gloves, soap, face towels, deodorant, toothbrushes and toothpaste to the homeless in Washington DC!

Thanks to Mattie Chappelle, Brenda Cooper, Jean Brown, Francine Bidgell, Roland H. Jeter and I for braving the cold to distribute them around the city to those less fortunate!

Thanks to Sandra Hamrick, Jackie Wilson, Derrick Nabors, Gertrude Beck, Louise Sawyer for helping pack the bags!

A special thank you to Juanita in Health and Welfare for donating bags, toothbrushes and toothpaste! And thank you to the Officers and Executive Board for their donation and allowing us to use the van to distribute the supplies!

As a union we are fortunate to have members who give back to our community! We are humble and appreciative for all of those that give their time and support!
