It’s getting to be fair time! We have three awesome kids getting ready to show rabbits at the upcoming Placer County Fair June 25-28th. We invite you to come support the youth of Foresthill! 🍀🐰🍀🐰🍀🐰🍀🐰

Over the summer, the rabbit project kids will keep working hard along with the pig project and goat project kiddos so they are ready to show at Gold Country Fair in September. We’ll also have some pretty awesome still exhibits that were made in the woodworking project!

As the official 4-H year winds down in June, Foresthill 4-H Club will have some dedicated youth working over the summer showing animals and exhibiting items they’ve made this year at the Placer County and Gold Country Fairs. Keep your eyes peeled for spotlights coming up on each of these kiddos and their projects. 🍀🍀🍀🍀

It’s that exciting time of year again — the 4-H Club is beginning to plan for an amazing new year, and we’re looking for enthusiastic adult volunteers to help lead projects and inspire the next generation!
Do you have a skill, hobby, or passion you’d love to share? Whether you’re experienced in a specific area or simply willing to lend a helping hand, we would love to have you involved. Our club thrives because of adults who are committed to encouraging, mentoring, and supporting the youth in our community.
4-H gives kids the opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence, make friendships, and explore interests beyond the classroom and screens. In past years, our projects have included baking, poultry, swine, rabbits, goats, fishing, and woodworking — all of which have been incredibly popular with our members. We’ve also seen a lot of excitement around horses and outdoor education–style projects for the coming year!
If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, now is the perfect time. Your time and encouragement can make a lasting impact on a child’s life.
