Mountains for Medicine (M4M) stepped into the story, and the story stepped back into the community. What began as a call has nowbecome a movement. This coverage isn’t the finish line; it’s a reminder that the work is alive, breathing, and still unfolding.

In many parts of Uganda, access to safe and reliable medical care is not guaranteed—especially for expecting mothers. What should be a joyful moment can quickly become life-threatening without trained professionals and proper facilities.

That’s why the work of the Nia Davenport Medical Clinics is so vital. These clinics are providing essential care, hope, and safety for families who might otherwise go without it.

We are especially grateful for this mother who came to the clinic to deliver her beautiful baby girl. During labor, the umbilical cord presented complications that could have made the delivery very dangerous. But because a skilled midwife was present, both mother and baby are safe today.

2025 Impact 🩺
At Nia Davenport Medical Centers, lives are being changed through compassionate care and faithful partnership.
📍 Kampala – 3,000 patients served
📍 Gulu – 900 patients served last year
During a recent medical mission, our team conducted an outreach that touched more than just physical needs. A mother of a two-week-old baby was so moved by the kindness shown by one of our nurses that she asked her to name her child. The nurse chose Matthew, meaning “Gift of God.”
Through this outreach, 12 community members gave their lives to Christ! 🙌
