LIONS MONTHLY RECYCLE DAY

This Saturday the 10th from 9am-11am at the VETS & Forest Made parking lot (restaurant opens @ 11am).

Time to clean up and get rid of all your recycling before the weather gets bad. Half the proceeds go to FRCA.

Paster Dan asked me to post this: The folks of Mt Joy Bible Fellowship are praying for your pumpkins. We are praying for a bountiful harvest beyond our imagination, into a miracle. We would be happy to receive this great second harvest for the Family Harvest Festival on October 24.

Forest Ranch Volunteer Fire Co #24 BBQ

Saturday September 12th ~ 11am to 3pm

Feast, Win, and Support Our Local Fire Fighters!

Beat the crowd and get ready for the big event!

The Lions Club will be right outside the Post Office from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM to help you score your meal tickets, opportunity drawing tickets, and mouth-watering baked goods! Catch them on these dates:

• Thursday, Sept 10

• Friday, Sept 11

Buy your tickets early so you can fill them out at home. When BBQ Day arrives, you can skip the long lines entirely and head straight for the food line, or to the prize cans for a chance to win big! Tickets also available to purchase at the event.

Co24 BBQ Fundraiser!! One week away!!!

The Lions Club still need 1 additional volunteer to help serve food from Noon-1:30, and 3 volunteers to help from 1:30-3:00. The Paradise Lions are covering the earlier shift and more, AWESOME!! And volunteers helping the Lions with the serving of food get their meal free, covered by the Lions. If you are available to help, please reply in this post or messenger Brian Raffaelli. TIA!

The "Volunteer Co. 24 Fireman’s Annual BBQ Fundraiser" is under 2 weeks away (Sept 12th)!!
I've recently attended 2 event planning meetings: One with reps from the local the organizations involved, and a second with the Lions regarding the food. We are all very committed in putting together another successful BBQ fundraiser for our awesome volunteer fire dept.
*** We need volunteers with helping serve the food! The first shift (10:30 to Noon) is almost completely covered by ---- The Paradise Host Lions Club!!! Very awesome of our neighboring Lions to "step-up" and help. We still need volunteers to help with the two remaining shifts: Noon to 1:30, and 1:30 to 3:00, as well as clean-up at the end. Please reply here or send me (Brian Raffaelli) a FB messenger if you would like to volunteer.
OH, and if you volunteer to help the Lions with the food serving, your lunch is covered (extra $ towards additional opportunity tickets and the silent auction!). TIA!!!

There’s limited time left to submit your nomination for the 2025–2026 Forest Ranch Citizen of the Year. Please share the name of your nominee and why, during the past 12 months, they deserve this special honor.

Submission must be received by midnight on September 1st. You can email your entry to [email protected] or mail it to the Forest Ranch Lions at PO Box 93, 95942.

Note: Limit one entry per person. Lions club members, their family members, and previous winners are not eligible.
