Benefit to Sponsor Campership for Kids with Type 1 Diabetes to Camp McCumber

The Forest Ranch Lions Club will be selling tickets and a bake sale at the Post Office from 10am to 4pm on Thursday & Friday (14th & 15th) for the Lions Camp McCumber Benefit, being held on Friday May 16th at the FRCC.
The Lions of District 4-C1 created a camp for kids with Diabetes in 1988 at Camp McCumber and is an endorsed camp of California MD4 Lions. The objective of the camp is to help kids adjust to their situation and learn how to take care of themselves responsibly while living a normal lifestyle.

Why am I a Lion? This is a great group of people who work diligently to better our community. The youth at the Charter School, the Co24 Volunteer Fire Department, and the Community Center are just a few of our focuses. But, where there is a need, there is a Lion. I know when most people think of the Lions they think "old people”. This is because sadly the younger generations are not getting involved. Let's change this! The Lions need fresh ideas, able bodies, more bodies! Typically, many groups only have a handful of active members and cannot accomplish everything they want to do. THE LIONS NEED YOU! The Lions do so much already but I am excited about what we could accomplish with enough members. If you have a heart for your community. If you want to make a difference in your community. And if you want to be involved in any manner, check out your local Forest Ranch Lions!! If you would like to join me at one of our meetings, just to check it out, let me know!

The Spring Craft Fair is now at 39 vendors❗️That’s almost DOUBLE the vendors at the very successful November Craft Fair‼️ This is turning out to be one of the largest Craft Fairs at the Forest Ranch Community Center in many, many years. You don’t want to miss it❗️

MONTHLY FOREST RANCH LIONS RECYCLE DAY
Separate out all your recyclables; aluminum cans, plastic, CA CRV glass & wine bottles and drop off at the monthly Lions Recycle Day this Saturday, April 11th from 9am to 11am at the VET Store parking lot. Half of the proceeds collected are donated to the FRCA. The remainder goes towards Community Support projects sponsored by the Lions...
Rain or shine, we'll be there waiting for y'all!! We'll even unload your recyclables for you, so you won't need to get out of your car/truck!!!

Three MAJOR and EPIC events happening in Forest Ranch in the next few Saturday’s…
FIRST is the Forest Ranch Community Association’s Monte Carlo Night. Followed on the 28th by the Forest Ranch Lions’ 27th Annual Pancake Breakfast & Easter Egg Hunt. And then to finish the trifecta, on April 4th is the Lions’ monthly BINGO!!!
