The Skin I’m In by Sharon G. Flake

We are proud to kick off our first group reading with The Skin I’m In, a powerful and relatable story that speaks directly to the hearts of young girls.

This book helps our girls:
💜 Build self-esteem by learning that beauty comes in every shade

We are excited to invite our I AM B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L and Young Kings mentees aged 12 years and older to a special group outing! We will be attending a private screening of the movie "Afraid" on Monday, September 2, 2024, at 1:30 PM.

Event Details:

Location: 4779 W Cermak Rd, Cicero, IL 60804
Time: 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM (Movie runtime: 1 hour & 24 mins)
Cost: $10.00 per person

Transportation: Limited transportation is available for an additional $3.00 per person.
