Good evening! When this page was created, we did so because our original page had been unpublished by FB. Please do us a favor and go like and follow our original page which has been restored.

It is our mission to positively impact and enhance the lives of those who serve(d).

Just a reminder, join us for Meaningful Connections tomorrow evening in Zumbrota.

Spring has sprung, and it's time to break out your walking shoes. We have 2 walking groups set to start in the north metro area next week, with a few others in the works elsewhere. These are free to attend, and are designed to get those we serve out and connecting in a healthy manner with others.

We want to thank Cindy and Monte for agreeing to host these weekly walks in Andover and Forest Lake.

Please RSVP to the emails listed so that we know who and how many people to plan for.

Monday 5pm - Bunker Hills Walk Park Walk Host: Cindy email at [email protected]

Wednesday 9am - IWP Support Center in Forest Lake Host: Monte email at [email protected]

They are almost never seen or recognized, but our Corrections Officers and staff play a vital role in the safety of our society. Every day they risk their lives behind the bars, and they are dealt a difficult hand. Corrections is the second highest category if people served through IWP, and it’s very common for us to hear from officers who were severely assaulted, often resulting in debilitating injuries. That doesn’t even scratch the surface of the mental toll the job takes. We are incredibly grateful for those who serve and protect us in the corrections field.

Today is the beginning of nurses week! We want to say thank you to all of those who serve the community as nurses.

We are proud to serve the nursing profession through the Invisible Wounds Project. We know that your job exposes you to more danger than what most people realize. Every single day nurses locally are assaulted and spit on simply for doing their job. We know this work is hard, and we want to let you know that we appreciate you, and we’re here for you.
