In my words... I've learned that when it comes to retirement, specifically, to rest, and relax...I don't know how. So after 44 years in the banking and lending industry, as a business owner, with overlays working in the technology industry for 18 years, 8 years with the OCSD in Correctional Programs, a community college instructor, and a 9-month stint at Walmart (not as a greeter) but as part of my road to semi-retirement, its time for a new chapter. So tomorrow I will start a new career as District Executive for Boy Scouts of America AKA Scouting America. The one thing I've learned in 44 years is that I'm driven by finding solutions and servicing others. Whether customers, peers, families, or friends. Like many, some of my greatest memories being a young scout. I'm proud to have watched my son and two daughters travel the path of scouting. To that, I'm excited to help others find the value of what scouting can bring to them and to their community. Thanks to those who have been supporting me and my dreams for 44 years. I appreciate you. -C
