Youthbuild Fort Worth, CLC inc. Providing youth, ages 16 to 24 opportunities to earn $ while they learn. At exit, they are placed in college, jobs, or both.

We gear our students toward their GEDs while learning construction job skills and community viability by building affordable housing. In YouthBuild programs, low-income young people ages 16 to 24 work towards their GEDs or high school diplomas while learning job skills by building affordable housing in their communities. Emphasis is placed on leadership development, community service, and the crea

tion of a positive mini-community of adults and youth committed to each other’s success. Students may earn AmeriCorps education awards through their homebuilding and other community service. Eligibility Requirements:

-Is between the ages of 16-24
-Low-Income family, a youth in foster care (including youth aging out of foster care), a youth offender, a youth who is an individual with a documented disability, a child of an incarcerated parent, a migrant youth
-High School Dropout

This project is funded at 100% by a $1,250,000 grant awarded to CLC, Inc. under the YouthBuild Program with the U.S. DOL – Employment and Training Administration. This program is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Program.
