What a fantastic afternoon at our Tie One On event! 🎣🍷

We had a great turnout, plenty of laughs, and lots of beautiful flies tied while enjoying wine tasting with the wonderful team from Marble Creek Acres. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a success.

Marble Creek Acres was a crowd favorite, and we're excited to share that they'll be joining us again at our Annual Meeting on July 25!

Take a look at some of our favorite moments from the day. We can't wait to see you at our next event!

Thank you to volunteers Ted and Iva Sussman for paddling Monument Brook and assessing the activity and condition of our wood duck boxes.

They reported a beautiful day on the water, with sightings of two moose, one deer, one muskrat, black ducks, mergansers, eastern kingbirds, red-winged blackbirds, and Canada geese.

While no wood ducks were observed, several boxes were being used as perches by eastern kingbirds.

We appreciate Ted and Iva taking the time to monitor these boxes and share their observations.

If you are interested in helping with our bird activity assessments and would like more information, please contact Anna at [email protected].

We are very grateful for the generosity and community support we received for our bat boxes, which will be installed in the Headwaters Forest in Amity this summer.

Our local businesses, schools, and community came together on this project, and we couldn't be more grateful. Matthew Tribou of JMM Services , Maine Cedar Specialty Products, Princeton Variety, Sara at S.W. Collins Company in Lincoln, and Miss DeKeyser's seventh-grade class at East Grand School made this happen. Thank you ALL!

Stay tuned for more photos later this week!
