Forest City Salvation Army Service Center We are a social service agency in Forest City Pennsylvania. Helping others when needed ❤️ Walk-ins are also welcome when we are in the office.

Provides emergency relief assistance such as help with utility shut-offs, monthly food pantry, summer camp for children, Angel Tree program at Christmas, summer lunch box program, Senior food box programs. May assist with winter heating fuel purchase in severe cold weather situations.

📦 🔴 📦 Reminder for all of our clients that are registered & receive senior boxes in Forest City, Today Thursday June 11th pick up between 10:00 and 12:00
🔴🔴Please try to make arrangements to pick up these boxes Thursday. We can not hold boxes.
They will be given to clients on the waiting list.
So please mark your calendar every month for the second Thursday from 10 to 12 to pick up your box.

📦📦Senior boxes are for our clients 60 years and Older in Lackawanna and Susquehanna County in our coverage area.
This is an income based program.
Boxes are picked up at our
Forest City Salvation Army Service Center
the second Thursday of each month. You can call our office
Monday through Friday and make an appointment to fill out an application.

B/S/S/T Area Agency on Aging will distribute the 2026 Senior Farmers’ Market Nutritional Program vouchers beginning the second week of June.
Please see dates, times, and locations of where vouchers will be distributed throughout Susquehanna County.
These vouchers provide fresh fruits and vegetables from local farmers' markets.
