Turning Pages SC

Turning Pages SC We help adults learn to read or read better, through learner-led, individualized tutoring from basics to pre-GED. Volunteers are our heroes!

We work with adults, year-round and mostly one-on-one, providing help at a time and place convenient for both learner and tutor. We provide reading, writing, and math instruction, three hours a week. Materials are provided. Regularly scheduled workshops are held at our learning center, for both basic English and English as a Second Language.

We graduated our first cohort of the F.A.R. (Fundamentals of Accelerated Reading) Program today in partnership with our host agency Transitions Homeless Center. Thank you to all, participants and supporters, who made the program a success!
