The first phase of our remodel project is winding down. We're getting ready to tackle the inside.

Phase 2 willl include fixing the kitchen floor, upgrading the appliances and cabinets, a little paint to freshen things up, and replacing the flooring in the gathering room. The sign will be installed soon and will read...Fordville Community Center!

Progress continues on the building remodel. Here are some pictures!

The construction work has started on our building project. The bathrooms and new accessible entry are framed in. Part of the roof has steel added. Siding has been removed. Waiting on windows that will be added to the front of the building before the new siding can be put on. I'll include pictures next time.

Still waiting for the contractor to start. Asbestos remediation is finished. Anticipated start date on the rest of the project is August 2nd.

Thank you to Leading Edge Equipment for the $2000.00 donation to help cover expenses not covered by the Community Development Block Grant the Fordville Senior Citizens Club has been allocated while working with the Red River Regional Council in Grafton for building renovations and accessibility features.
