This is a little late posting……

The Fordland Memorial Library volunteers and board would like to say

THANK. YOU.

to all those who came to the market event on Saturday, October 3. We are always thankful for the support the library receives.

The weather was great and the crowd was huge. The library tried a new meal—“Walking Tacos”. It was a big success.

A BIG thanks to the volunteers who helped put things together and take things down: Pete Fetters, Jana McConnell, Aleesha Ham, and Judy Barber.

We always appreciate the vendors too!

This goes with many moments in life.

Some classroom moments give us plenty of time to think about how we want to respond. Others give us about three seconds. 😊

This week's mantra is one we both need because staying calm and intentional is much easier to talk about before the hard moment than it is to actually do in the middle of one.

We won't control everything that happens in our classrooms, and we won't respond perfectly every time. But we can keep practicing the pause between what happens and what we do next. That's where so much of our influence lives. ❤️
