Over the next couple of days, we will be working on getting our Silverwood reading and math minutes completed! ✏️📖

We have until Tuesday at the end of the day to get all of our minutes completed, so please make sure your child is participating and getting their minutes in! 💪🏽

We will be OPEN tomorrow, Thursday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM!

⏰ Reminder: Pick up at 4:30 PM.

Tomorrow we’ll be spending the day at the Youth Center getting everyone caught up on their Silverwood minutes!

🎒 Also, be on the lookout for another message from me with information about our school backpack distribution.

A small group, but a meaningful day at the STN Food Sovereignty Garden 🌱
Youth learned sweetgrass braiding, sage bundle making, plant character crafting, & making calendula oil and St. John’s wort oil — reconnecting with plant relatives & their medicines.
We also got a chance to visit the horses up in wellpinit @ the PW grounds at the
HORSE CULTURE & ETHNOBOTANY PLANT CAMP 🌾🐴

Wednesda- Pattison’s roller skating
Thursday- STN

We will have permission slips in the morning for
Parents to sign during drop off

Sunset at Lake Wenatchee with the Ford youth program girls 🌅💛
This wasn't the Girls Camp we had on paper. We had a few detours, a few lessons learned, and one very, very long drive home.
But these girls? They never missed a beat. They found the fun, they found each other, and they made it a memory anyway.
So happy we made it back safe to our families. That's what I'm holding onto. Thank you to our parents for your grace with all the last-minute changes — it meant everything.
FYC girls are something else. ✨
Also The smoke & fires meant we couldn’t do sweat either — & it’s such a healing/ powerful part of camp when all the centers come together. Hopefully we can plan around fire season in the future so the girls don’t have to miss out. - Myesha Allen
