Fontana Kiwanis Division 36

Fontana Kiwanis Division 36 We are a highly motivated non-profit organization who's weekly meetings are informational, inspirational and fun. Our main focus is youth and service.

The Fontana Kiwanis Club invites anyone interested in helping to make the world, and our community, a better place, to join us! Come to the Fontana Sundowner Family Restaurant for our 1st or 3rd Tuesday of each month noon meetings, in the back room. If you can't make those meetings, you can still join us by volunteering to help at any of our community activities. We also sponsor five Key Clubs, on

e at each of Fontana's comprehensive high schools. Ever since this particular Kiwanis club was founded, in 1987, one of our main goals has been to award scholarships to local graduating seniors. Multiple ones are awarded each year at Fontana, A.B. Miller, Kaiser, Summit, and Jurupa Hills high schools along with Fontana continuation high schools, Birch and Citrus. For further information, please check out our main website, with lots of pictures and news, at www.fontanakiwanis.org, and if you'd like to be a guest speaker, or as for further information, call or text Sid Lehman, at (760) 780-9248.

With our new Kiwanis year arriving soon, I thought it might be a good time to remine us all of why we joined Kiwanis.

The Kiwanis mission
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time.

The Kiwanis vision
Kiwanis will be a positive influence in communities worldwide — so that one day, all children will wake up in communities that believe in them, nurture them and provide the support they need to thrive.

The Kiwanis motto
Serving the children of the world

The Kiwanis Objects

To give primacy to the human and spiritual, rather than to the material values of life.
To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.
To promote the adoption and the application of higher social, business and professional standards.
To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive and serviceable citizenship.
To provide, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service and to build better communities.
To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism and goodwill.

🌹✨ Introducing the 2027 Kiwanis Rose Float: Garden of Hope ✨🌹
Where service takes root and communities bloom 💛
This year’s float design celebrates the power of coming together—cultivating kindness, nurturing growth, and creating spaces where hope can flourish. From buzzing bees to blooming flowers and hands hard at work in a community garden, every detail reflects the impact Kiwanis members make every day.
🌱 Together, we plant seeds of service
🌼 Together, we grow stronger communities
🌻 Together, we inspire hope
We can’t wait to see Garden of Hope come to life on the Rose Parade route in 2027!
