The Fond du Lac Sons of the American Legion and the Auxiliary in conjunction with Southern Care Hospice would like to invite the you to our Chili Dinner on Veterans Day. Veterans will be served Free Chili. Others can purchase unlimited bowls for $7. Children 5 and Under can purchase for $3. At 6:00 pm there will be a memorial walk along with a presentation by the winners of the Youth Americanism Essay Contest. Chili will be served between 4 and 7 pm on Saturday November 11th, 2017 at 500 Fond du Lac Ave, Fond du Lac, WI. Just a few pictures of the 53ft semi we started loading yesterday. A long ways to go but we are packing the truck very tight. Going to be even more fun unloading. Tentative delivery location is Beaumont TX according to the Texas State American Legion Adjutant. Thanks to TTI Trucking in Eden for the trailer and hauling.

Just a little project today with the Family readiness group leader and Operation Wisconsin at the West Bend National Guard Armory. We packaged 64 boxes destined to our deployed Wisconsin Army National Guard soldiers of C Co 1-168th Aviation Badger medevac and C Co 2-158th Aviation Badger Medevac. We planned on sending around 30 boxes of requested items from these soldiers and this is what we ended up with. Due to the large quantity of requested items donated we are in needing to boost the amount of funds needed in order to cover shipping. Our recent brat fry is going to cover about 50% of that cost. Remember we raise the bulk of our funds through our Red Shirt Friday program. Additional donations are always accepted.
