Spirit of Life Christian Church We exist to help people discover God’s heart and purpose for their life, so they can reflect the fullness of Christ. Welcome to Spirit of Life Church of God.

We’re building a church that carries the presence of God, cultivates a life-giving culture, and invests passionately in people. Spirit of Life is a Christ-centered church whose purpose is to glorify God and to fulfill His plans for our lives and His Kingdom. We are a church with a servant’s heart, relevant teaching, heartfelt worship, sincere friendships, constant prayer, and a compassionate heart for lost and broken people. You will find that we are a dynamic and energetic church determined to make an impact in people’s lives, as well as in our community. We seek to unify the body of Christ by embracing diversity. It is our prayer that as you enter into our church and experience our services you will feel the love of Christ, the compassion of his people, and encounter the fullness of God’s mercy, grace, and love. We are committed to knowing more of His word through sound biblical teaching. Our desire is to reach out to others with the love of Christ and to serve just as Jesus came to serve (Mark 10:45). We are a growing church with the purpose of touching and changing lives in our community and the surrounding area. If you are tired of experiencing religious rituals and you desire a place where you can be real with real people, then you have found a place to call home.

Worship on Wednesday … God’s Unfailing Love Pursues You
Even in the middle of hurts, habits, and hang-ups, God is watching over you. His goodness follows you in life, and his unfailing love pursues you. Here’s another way to look at it: Picture a parent following a little kid around, picking up after the child. No matter what you’re going through, God comes right alongside you, helping to pick up your messes and telling you that his unfailing love is always there.
This means that, rather than entering the future with a question mark, you can do it with an exclamation point! God will be with you, no matter what happens. He will help you out.
What is God’s goodness, and what is his unfailing love? God’s goodness is the fact that he gives us good things in life that we don’t deserve. His unfailing love—his mercy—means that God holds back the condemnation we do deserve.
Remember this:
God’s goodness will provide and protect.
His unfailing love will pardon and forgive.
God’s goodness will supply your every need.
His unfailing love will soothe.
God’s goodness will help.
His unfailing love will heal.

You can count on God’s promises, including his promise that you “will live in the house of the LORD forever.” So, even after God supplies everything you need to follow him in this life, he still has eternity waiting for you in the perfect place he’s prepared in advance. God is going to pursue you with his love throughout your life, and then you’re going to enjoy being in his presence forever and ever. That’s the best news!

Worship on Wednesday … Beauty Out of Ashes

One of the Bible’s greatest truths is that our lives can be different. No matter what our past has been, Christ stands ready to forgive and cleanse us - and to make us new. The Bible says, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV)
When Isaiah wrote about beauty coming forth from ashes, he was probably thinking of Jerusalem, the once-proud city now shattered and burned at the hand of a brutal enemy. Some seven hundred years later, Jesus applied this passage from Isaiah to the ministry God had given Him.
Only Christ can bring hope to lives that have been turned into ashes by the assaults of Satan. And Jesus doesn’t merely restore us to what we once were; He gives us “a crown of beauty” - the beauty of forgiveness, and the beauty of hope and joy and peace. Who around you is experiencing the ashes of a shattered life? Pray for them and ask God to use you to point them to Christ.
