This is your friendly REMINDER to bring the youth out to enjoy our exciting Kids Zone at Juneteenth!

We have a full lineup of fun, learning, and community connection waiting for them.

🛡️ MOV Mentees & Chaperone Update
Our dedicated youth mentor, Mr. Kenneth Moncrief, will be on‑site serving as the official chaperone for the MOV mentees only.

During this time, mentees will participate in:
📸 Group photos
🚀 Introductions to the MOV Mentoring Program
📋 A brief reference check‑in with Mr. Moncrief

This allows the mentees to have a focused moment together as a group.

🧸 Sibling & Family Support
If parents bring younger siblings or additional children, our on‑ground volunteers will gladly assist you and help guide families directly to the Kids Zone area.

Everyone will be welcomed, supported, and directed with care.

Men of Vision; They will Be what They See!

🎉 ATTENTION MOV PARENTS & MENTEES! 🎉

Saturday, June 20th the Men of Vision will be out in full force celebrating Ebony Vision's 18th Annual Juneteenth Celebration at Buttermilk Creek Park!

We need all of our mentees there to represent the Men of Vision mentoring program (MOV). Everything kicks off at 11:00 AM sharp—please have your mentee there by 11:00 AM so they can check in with our chaperone, Kenneth Moncrief, and get settled before the activities begin! ⏱️

Mr. Terrance Lofton has taken care of FREE lunch for the guys, and we will also be handing out FREE books! 📚🍔

Our youth will be hanging out in the Kids' Activity Zone (located in the back of the park near the sliding boards). We have a great day of movement and interaction planned:

🚒 Fire Truck Visit: The guys get an up-close look at a real fire truck stationed by the playground.
🤸 Active Games: Double Dutch, Hula Hooping, and a competitive Bounce Area.
🎨 Creative Session: A special hands-on workshop featuring "Colors of the World" materials.
