11 years ago a group of friends, families and businesses now known as Friends of Folsom began participating in the Sacramento County Food Bank Annual Turkey Drive. The first year, the donation was 200 turkeys. Since that year we have joined hands with more and more small b

usinesses, vendors, customers, members of the community as well as their families and friends to feed close to 25,000 families over the subsequent last 10 years! Each Year, the donation has grown due to more people and businesses taking part. The words “every little bit helps” have never been so evident throughout the years. Any donation is greatly appreciated. With the help of Walmart we can get a family fed for around $10 dollars. Please find it in your heart to not discard this and rather take the few minutes to make a contribution. Any donation over $100 dollars would qualify you or your business for title sponsorship and you would be a part of all press releases signage, social/digital dissemination, collateral materials and mentioned at the event party. In addition, all donations of any size will receive a charitable donation receipt from the Sacramento Food Bank 5013C and be 100% tax deductible. The Sweet Dreams Foundation is looking for incredible volunteers to help make the 3rd Annual Denim & Diamonds Rustic Gala an unforgettable evening!

This special event raises critical funds to support medically fragile babies and children battling life-threatening illnesses through the Sweet Dreams Foundation’s life-changing programs. Every volunteer plays an important role in creating a magical evening for our guests while helping bring peace, hope, and love to families who need it most.

When you make it all the way to 76 only to learn that they no longer have a dump station…. 😤😖

THEN through a series of S***TY events (pun intended) end up running into the fine folks at Blue Collar Country Club who we previously randomly met at Land Ocean Restaurants on Hangtown Friday (another part of an even longer series of events LOL 😂😳🤯) ….I swear we meet THE BEST people at that bar!?

And…. Not only do they HAVE a dump station only 7 minutes from home AND Adam helped Woody with the s***ty job at no charge (because of course he wouldnt let him pay!) ….but they also run a LOCAL, Family owned & operated (you know, our FAVORITE kind 😍) version of Outdoorsy! 🙌 So we know a LOT of our peeps use Outdoorsy, switch on over to Blue Collar Country Club for your next rental! We know WE will be! 🙋🏼‍♀️

The Folsom Police Department's Animal Control Officers are often called to assist lost, abandoned, injured, or displaced pets in our community. You can help make a difference by donating pop-top cans of dog and cat food.
These easy-to-open meals provide immediate nourishment for animals while they are being cared for by our officers and awaiting reunification with their owners or placement with a rescue partner.
Donations can be dropped off at the Folsom Police Department, 46 Natoma Street, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thank you for helping us provide comfort and care to animals when they need it most.
