🎶 There’s nothing like live music to brighten a day, and the talented duo Sissy Strings recently did just that for the senior residents at Happy Memories Senior Care in Folsom!

Through our outreach program, we bring student and professional musicians into residential, memory care, and independent living communities — lifting spirits, fostering a love of the arts, and creating meaningful connections.

Our goal is simple: to make sure everyone can experience the joy of live music, especially those who are no longer able to attend concerts.

Tomorrow, May 7, Folsom Concert Association joins nonprofits across the Sacramento region for Big Day of Giving. Thank you to everyone who has already donated during Early Giving — your support means so much!

Your gift helps support affordable concerts, student scholarships, and live music programs for seniors across the region.

We recently saw the joy these programs bring when DP Maracin visited Western Slope Health Center in Placerville, sharing an afternoon of guitar, song, and connection with a very appreciative audience. 🎶 These visits help lift spirits and keep music accessible for seniors who are no longer able to attend concerts in person.

Big Day of Giving is just one week away! As a local nonprofit, the Folsom Concert Association is proud to join organizations across the region in this 24-hour giving challenge that celebrates community generosity.

From midnight to 11:59 PM on May 7, we will be raising funds to support our mission to present affordable live music to the community and to encourage appreciation of the performing arts through our music programs for seniors and scholarships for local students.

Ticket sales help make our programs possible, but they cover only part of the cost. That’s why the support of our community, and supporters like you, makes such a difference.
