It was a wonderful day for a Veterans Day parade. The Folsom Athletic Association proudly honored U.S. Navy (Ret.) Radarman 3rd Class Al Meier. Your dedication and service to our nation—both in uniform and in the years since—serve as an inspiration to us all.

Huge thanks to the Folsom Baseball Club players, siblings, and parents for walking with the FAA in today’s parade! The kids had the chance to meet a truly remarkable veteran—an experience they won’t forget. ❤️💙

Want to make a difference this Thanksgiving? Join the fun and help keep runners safe at the annual FOLSOM TURKEY TROT!

We need Adult Course Volunteers to help with traffic control — keeping the streets safe and clear as runners pass.

🦃 Thanksgiving morning, November 27
📍 Starts at Lion’s Park | 10K – 8:50 a.m. | 5K – 9:10 a.m.
👨‍👧 Kids are welcome to join the fun if accompanied by an adult.
🙂 The course uses a rolling closure, so once runners pass your assigned street, your shift is complete.

Our senior citizens have given so much to our community — now it’s our turn to give back. ♥️

We gift 100 local senior citizens with essential items every holiday season, we fill up hand decorated gift bags from the youth in our community and hand deliver the bags! 🛍️

The Wild One Series is a limited-edition 4-pack of Red Bus Brewing Company beers, each featuring custom label art by local Folsom artist Brian Wallace.

Every can highlights a real rescued animal from the Folsom Zoo Sanctuary—Lenore the raven, Reggie the raccoon, Grayson the owl, and Kayli the macaque—along with their unique stories.

👏 Folsom Teen Council is a passionate group of high school students dedicated to serving their community. Led by a team of student officers, they provide leadership to the council and connect with the community. The council actively participates in the City of Folsom's special events and supports many local organizations. In 2024, they logged over 2,180 hours of volunteer services.

The FAA has an established partnership with Folsom Teen Council. The council has volunteered for several FAA and youth group events. Last week, the FAA proudly presented a $2,500 check to support their mission. 💙
