Yay! The chipper is back in action. Big thanks to the city crews for getting us up and running again. This is on the trail just off Bowen Circle in the Parkway. Note the before and after views. We will be working our way to our other work sites as time permits. We appreciate the patience of the neighborhoods as we catch up as quickly as possible.

Share the Trail Safely!

Help make our trails safe and enjoyable for everyone by following these simple guidelines:

-Walkers should stay on the left side of the trail.
-Dogs must be kept on a leash no longer than six feet and remain to the walker’s left.
-Bicyclists should ride on the right side of the trail. This allows walkers and riders to see each other as they approach.
-When approaching a walker, bicyclists must yield and pass carefully on the cyclist’s left when it is safe to do so.

Stay alert, be courteous, and share the trail!

Good safety reminders as students around the area start school this week!

🎒 School is back in session, and more e-bikes, e-scooters, and other electric vehicles are sharing Folsom’s roads. Before you ride, know the rules and put safety first.

🚲 Class 1 and 2 e-bikes: Maximum speed is 20 mph. Riders under 18 must wear a helmet.
⚡ Class 3 e-bikes: Maximum speed is 28 mph. Riders must be at least 16, and helmets are required for everyone.
🛴 E-scooters: Riders must be at least 16 and have a valid driver’s license or permit. The speed limit is 15 mph. Passengers are not allowed, and riding on sidewalks is prohibited.
🏍️ Mopeds and electric motorcycles may require a license, registration, license plate, and approved helmet. They are not allowed on bike trails.

Review the rules of the road at www.folsom.ca.us/ebikes-escooters.

It's another H-O-T 😅week Friends of Folsom Parkways! We're doing another Handel's Ice Cream FUN-draiser this Thursday, August 6 to help you stay cool 😎. It's the first day of school for most students here in town, so what better way to kick off the school year than with a scoop of your fave ice cream! 🍨 Be sure to mention you're there to support the Friends of Folsom Parkways and a portion of proceeds will be donated to our nonprofit 🫶
