We will be walking the Historic Folsom Hometown Parade this Saturday with our sister club Folsom Host Lions. We’ll be handing our small American flags to the children coming to watch! Come say Hi! 🦁💜💛

With over 70 entries including marching bands, creative floats, vintage cars and more, the Hometown Parade will be full of excitement.

OK! One more post from the Delta Lions Annual Tea earlier in March! We’ve been attending this fundraising event for several years and it’s a lot of fun! The funds go to help their local high school Leo Club and community support. 🦁💜💛

Here is Lion Bernadette, PDG Rich, PDG Carol, PDG Don, CS Josie, Lion Evelyn , (soon to be a Lion) Kim, Lion Becky and Lion Dee!

We definitely ate our share of tiny sandwiches, scones, desserts (lemon bars💖), fruit, and anything else they put in front of us! 😂 Oh, and we drank tea 🫖!

A few weeks ago, we had a fun visitation from DG Tim Luckinbill and many members of the Executive Cabinet. DG Tim presented four members - Syble, Margaret, Karen, and PDG Carol with 35 years of Lions service pins!

Thank you to 1VDG Zenny Yagen, 2VDG Vicky Brady, CS Josie Fong, RC Kitty Kramer, PDG Andy Anderson, GST Jeri Wartena and our guests PDG Don Ring, PDG James Fong, and PDG Rich DeCuir, and our own PDG Carol Ring, ZC Gail O’Brien. (Did I miss anyone?)

And of course, to all our members who brought yummy food and desserts! It was a lot of fun!

A few late posts with activities that our club members participated in! Let’s start with the Cancel Out Parkinson’s Walk just this past weekend! Several FLL’s volunteered and walked in honor of our beloved PID Bob Smith, one of the kindest men ever. We all miss him !

Great participation with nine members (plus 2 honorary) attending to support the Lions Education Foundation’s grant program. There were lots of tasty soups and salads, and dessert for all to enjoy!

We brought soup cans for the tables and then donated them to a local food bank. Many thanks to the LEF board for organizing. 🦁💜💛
